Pearson, Christopher of Burlington Patent, Old England District, Tryon Co., leather dresser and glover.

Memorial New Carlisle 1786. He was driven from his property and joined the Army but was discharged because he had too large a family to maintain at Niagara. He was taken prisoner at Fort Stanwix on 2 October 1777 and freed on 31 December. He has been unable since 1776 to ply his trade. The deeds of his property are lost but proofs may be obtained from Richard Wills, merchant at Philadelphia.

Claim for 200 acres; glover's tools; goods taken by the rebels at Burlington Creek.
