Hindman, Samuel of Black Creek, Charlotte Co., farmer.
Memorial New Carlisle, Bay of Chaleur, 1786. He was a freeholder at Black Creek and joined the Army in July 1777 at Skenesborough as a Lieut. Claim for 268 acres; a house, etc. Evidences: Deposition 13 March 1786 by Robert Caldwell, settler at Carlisle, that he knew the claimant to have had a good farm though he was never at his house.
