Cowll, George of Willsborough, Charlotte Co., farmer.
Memorial, now of New Carlisle, Bay of Chaleur, 1786. In June 1776 he was taken prisoner to Crown Point but escaped to St. John where he served as an Army guide. He was in service until December 1783 in the Regt. of Loyal Rangers. Claim for a house and 100 acres. Rejected. American Migrations, New York, page 209 |
